Hair has never been just hair to me. Every character has a story, and every look should help tell it.
When I read a script, I’m thinking beyond the hairstyle. I’m thinking about who the character is, where they’ve been, and how their appearance can help tell the story before they ever speak a word. That’s where my creative process begins.
As a Department Head, I bring together creative vision and operational leadership. Whether designing key character looks or building the right team to execute a production, I believe great leadership is about collaboration, trust, and creating an environment where talented artists can do their best work

Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to productions including Reasonable Doubt, The Boroughs, Swarm, The Big Door Prize, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Till, and The Fabulous Four. Every project has reinforced my belief that the smallest details often make the greatest impact.
Beyond production, I’m passionate about creating opportunities for others. As Executive Director of Banneker Class of 1989, Inc. and Co Founder of the Leading Beauty Industry Awards, I’m committed to investing in students, celebrating artists, and building platforms that inspire excellence throughout our industry.
Whether I’m developing a character, leading a department, or mentoring the next generation, my mission remains the same: to tell meaningful stories, lead with excellence, and leave every production, every team, and every community stronger than I found it.
